Networking Technological Possibilities
It might be that I declare November as the worst possible month of the year. In reality, November is just the lull from a series of activities, waiting for the next projects to happen, and gathering wits for the next semester. Thus, cheers to December beginning!
Of the most crucial, is the final major project that will take place. We need your fast donations. I know Christmas is around the corner, and that over the last 2+ years, I’ve asked for money for projects through the Partnership Program, but this was the only remaining option due to a plethora of circumstances. It’s really important that this project is funded immediately in order for the the project to be completed by March, which is when all of my projects need to be closed. All of my activities for the next semester hinge on this project being funded, so please please donate whatever you can, talk up this project or post the link to the website on your social media networks…please just help raise the remaining $786 in whatever way you can.

About the project: What I’m committed to, and am absolutely passionate about, is building a plethora of skills and providing the space for these techniques to combine. Within my last main project as a PCV, this is the main driving force. By building filming and editing skills with teachers and students, we’re going set off a small chain of change. The teachers who are trained to film and edit, will then train their students, and these students, of which the majority become teachers, will be able to teach their students filming and editing techniques. The second part will be to build an online media resource to help bridge the gap between cities and towns. At the foundation of the project is the goal to create active possibilities. . The university, where this project will be implemented is really excited about it – we just need you. Based upon what I now understand, I have no doubt of the success nor of the importance to this project.
What I’ve learned through editing, is to look at the environment, and combine different segments to create a new space. Editing sound has taught me to listen, and to act upon what I feel and think. It’s taught me to create and actively pursue answers I’ve yet to be able to question. What I know about implementing this project here, is that it will do more for my community here than what the techniques of editing have done for me.
Again, please help us fund this project before the middle of December. If you can’t donate, please spread the word, so that the project is funded. Here’s the link again: https://www.peacecorps.gov/index.cfm?shell=donate.contribute.projDetail&projdesc=343-272
