it’s sleeve-ossible
Once upon a project, I had a pet sleeping bag, who lived with a hot tea. There were a few ideas stuck up in my long-sleeve shirt. I forgot to hold onto the end of the shirt closest to my hands before putting on my coat. Now, I’ve got to wriggle the sleeves and ideas into their functioning position, and zip up my fall boots before running into the action of “yes and, how!” The inspiring costume to the tale? A Dress. It’s become my new spandex.
People are amazing – like whoa. Super amazing. What’s even more super cool than that is when ideas and possibilities get bigger and more possible and change happens. Or – decoded – I have a friend, who is amazing and wants to help get the Wheelchair accessible + inclusion training project going here:
All too often, we think we are too small, or think that it takes alot of time and effort to change the world. It’s possible to think this way, because it’s hard to see the impact we have. But it doesn’t, and you’re not small. You’re human, and you’re A LIFE alive. The world is constantly changing, so why not choicefully be a part of that? Choices – ideas – have so much more power than we think. AND, here’s a way that you can have more impact than you think:
My friend, the woman I met on the airplane in July, has said that any donations made to the project, she’ll match up to the project’s goal. THAT means, if you donate $5, it’s like you donated $10. And, that’s $10 closer to getting the project started. I’m super serious, when I say, ANYTHING small or great will help. The college, where I work, can’t start the project until we receive the funds, so we’re waiting on you.
How can you donate? click here ( https://www.peacecorps.gov/index.cfm?shell=resources.donors.contribute.projDetail&projdesc=343-181 ), read about the project, and click on the donate button. You can pay electronically, or send in a check. So what are you waiting for??? Let’s get this opportunity funded and started already!
